The courtroom was tense. My husband, Richard Collins, stood up suddenly, unable to contain his rage anymore. He pointed straight at me — and at our six-year-old daughter sitting quietly beside my lawyer.

“Take that girl to hell with you!” he shouted. “She’s not even worth fighting over!”

Gasps filled the room. The judge slammed his gavel.

Richard didn’t care.
